Annapolis Royal Library

The library is located at 143 Ritchie St., in the Academy building at the rear. There is a good selection of books for all ages, DVDs, audiobooks on CD, magazines and much more. The collection is refreshed on a regular basis so there is always something new to the shelves.  Public Internet access is available with free WiFi available 24/7.

The space includes two meeting rooms, call the library to see about a booking.

A Solar PV system has been installed at the Academy, through the Clean Annapolis Project (CARP). The system is a 11.055kW solar photovoltaic system installed by Nova Sun Power with electrical completed by Charles Stewart Electrical. It is comprised of 33 panels in total. The inverter was turned on between 10 and 11 am on Friday, October 9th, 2020. Visit SolarWeb.com to see the live data for this system.

The Annapolis Innovation Lab Is closed for the remainder of the 2026 calendar year. We currently do not have staff available to manage the space, maintain the equipment, or provide patron training/support. We will revisit the service pause once we have some experience with the new branch hours, staffing model, and overall branch usage. We apologize for this inconvenience.
