Position: Substitute Library Clerk / Delivery Driver
The AVRL is seeking Substitute Library Clerks and a Substitute Delivery Driver to work on a casual, as-needed basis to cover vacations, sick time, and as-needed in the AVRL’s 10 branches and Administration Office.
Locations Needing Coverage:
- Administration Office: the Delivery Driver is based out of the Administration Office in Berwick and delivers materials to all branches from Windsor to Annapolis Royal.
- Annapolis County: Annapolis Royal, Bridgetown, and Middleton Branches
- Central/Western Kings County: Berwick Branch, Administration Office, Kingston Branch
Status: Casual Part-Time (non-unionized)
Salary rate 2026-2027: $20.51 per hour
Hours per pay period: no guaranteed hours
Hours of work: vary based on location, ranging from 8:30am – 8pm, Monday – Saturday. Evening and weekend availability is required.
