Book Club in a Bag
Book Club in a Bag is a service for the use of book clubs wanting the convenience of a pre-packaged bag complete with 8 copies of a book, a discussion guide and suggested questions and a sign-out sheet for the group leader. Some kits include a copy of the book in large print format and/or an audiobook.
The individual who checks out the kit is financially responsible for the kit and is responsible for returning all pieces of the kit. General library borrowing rules apply.

Book Club in a Bag may be sent to your local branch by placing requests in the library catalogue, the same as for any other type of library material. Library staff can also help you place a request. You cannot reserve a kit for a specific date.
You may return your Book Club in a Bag kit in person to any branch of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library. You cannot return Book Club in a Bag kits through after-hours book drops. The kit must be intact with all copies included. Incomplete kits will be subject to replacement costs.
Book Club in a Bag kit is checked out for 6 weeks. They are renewable if no other holds are waiting.
Your book club members may find additional copies of titles through our library catalogue.
