Kanopy

Kanopy is a streaming service with access to thousands of films, documentaries, and television shows. Its selections include film festival winners, classic cinema, foreign films, and much more.

Each month you will receive a monthly ticket allotment of 12 tickets per month.

Titles containing multiple episodes will be labelled so you know you’re getting the entire season for the ticket value. The Great Courses will cost 5 tickets and have up to a 21-day viewing period.

Get started with Kanopy!

• Click the “Go to Kanopy” button (below) or visit valleylibrary.kanopy.com. Once on the login page, click Add Library Card.
• Enter your AVRL Same Page library card information and click Continue.
• To create your account, enter your first and last name, email address, and then create a password. When you’re finished, click Sign Up.
• Before you begin enjoying Kanopy’s films and documentaries, you’ll need to verify your email address. Navigate to your email account, open the email from Kanopy and click the Verify Email button.
• Kanopy will return you to the homepage, where you can enjoy some of the world’s finest films.
• You can now sign in on a computer web browser as well as the Android and Apple iOS apps.
