Join Greg Batty, AVRL’s Digital Literacy Instructor, for discussion, tips and practical instructions on how to avoid online phishing scams and steps to take in protecting your personal information. Phishing is a type of online scam that targets consumers by sending them an email message that appears to be from a well-known source.
Participants will take away an action plan worksheet as to how to proceed at home to ensure that you are prepared.
Registration is required. If you have questions, please call your library.
