Murder By The Book: Kicking off Fundraising for the new Wolfville Library

The Town of Wolfville is building a new Library!

A new combined Library and Town Hall will be built on the existing Town Hall site, at 359 Main Street. The new library will be the fulfillment of 7+ years of careful consideration, and the new library will become a vibrant part of the downtown, a destination for visitors, and a resource for local business and entrepreneurs. The town has committed to funding this project, and the Annapolis Valley Regional Library’s Wolfville Library Fundraising goal is $1,000,000. With your generous support, we know we can reach it!

Murder by the Book is the kick-off to our fundraising campaign. We are delighted to present this play-within-a-play, written by Laura Teasdale, with support from Louise Penny, and performed by an enthusiastic, talented, all-local cast and crew.

The town of Two Spruce is about to lose their beloved library. A team of volunteer actors come to its financial rescue by staging a murder mystery. But on opening night a real murder most foul threatens to thwart their theatrical aspirations. Lucy the Librarian and a team of quirky volunteer actors scramble to solve the crime before the curtain rises and the library is lost forever!
