Do you have a sewing project you’d like to do, but don’t have a sewing machine? Ever wanted to learn how to use a 3D printer?
Now’s your chance! The Mobile Innovation Lab is at the Dr. Frank W. Morse Memorial Library in Lawrencetown for May and June.
What is the Mobile Innovation Lab?
The Mobile Innovation Lab travels to various Annapolis Valley Regional Library branches, providing access to tools and technology that you can use to complete your own creative projects! The Mobile Innovation Lab contains:
- an Ultimaker3 – 3D Printer
- a Cricut Maker (cutter)
- a Cricut Heat Press 2
- a Serger – Brother 3534D
- Sewing Machine(s) – Janome Heavy Duty

Anyone ages 18 and up, or younger and accompanied by an adult, can book a free hour-long private tutorial with a qualified instructor to learn how to use any of the tools and tech in the Mobile Lab. Once you’ve learned the basics, you can use our equipment on your own, any time during open lab hours, to bring your creation to life.
