Middleton’s Art Wall, March, 2021

Posted on

The Rosa M. Harvey Middleton & Area Library would like to welcome local art enthusiasts to visit and view our art display featuring and promoting local artists in our area.

For the month of March we are featuring the artwork of our local Kathy Williams

Kathy’s bio:

Kathy never expressed an interest in art, or the medium of painting until she experienced a stroke in April of 2014. Leaving her right side paralyzed, Kathy was sent to New Brunswick, where a valve in her heart was replaced. From there, she went through countless forms of rehab. During one of these sessions, it was suggested that she try a paint class. She was doubtful, as her dominant hand was now not an option. However, she proved herself wrong! Now here she is, selling her work (at low rates) in order to say thank you to all her loved ones and hospital staff.

Kathy’s work will be on display at the Rosa M. Harvey Middleton and Area Library until the end of March. We encourage you all to come by and view her inspiring and whimsical art!
