Big Ideas: Stories, Art, Food

When:
Sunday, Sep 17, 2017 03:00pm to 05:00pm

Big Ideas is a community effort to bring together families to talk about stories, create, celebrate our rich culture, and share a light meal together. Bring the family to the Digby and Area Learning Association Community Room, 86 Atlantic Ave in Cornwallis Park, for a FREE afternoon of stories, creating art, and a community feast. We will get together once a month, May - September to listen, share our diverse stories, talk, and make art. Each session will feature a different book and story, an art project lead by our visiting artists, and a light meal of local foods. The art projects will eventually result in one large piece that will be shared in other communities around the Annapolis Valley. At each session we will give away books so that families can continue the discussion at home.

Everyone is WELCOME PJILASI BIENVENUE

Registration is requested, so that we can prepare enough food!
