Academy Library Day

The Annapolis Royal Friends of the Library invite you to come out any time between 9:30 and 4:00 to see the plans for the new library space.  All events are in the former ARRA cafeteria or in the gymnasium.  Please use the Ritchie Street entrance and follow the signs.

At 12:00 noon stop by and help us recognize and celebrate a very significant grant from Annapolis County.  We are also celebrating some very generous early donors to the Library Expansion Fund and thanking the Read-a-thon participants.  

Three local authors and an illustrator will be on site to talk about their writing journeys. Aspiriing writers and enthusiastic readers are all invited to these very informal chats about very different writing genres.

10:00 - Barry Moody, Author

11:00 - Louise Williams, Illustrator

1:00 - Laura Best, Young Adult fiction and adult short fiction author

4:00 - Donna Raxlen. Poetry and short fiction author

At 2:00 historian, Brenda Dunn will speak about "Fort Anne at 100 Years ..."

2:30 - Read-a-thon Event for Pre-Readers

Join us for Stories & Juice.  Dorothy McDonald from the Annapolis Royal Library will offer stories for pre-schoolers.
